Dentsply Sirona Announces Three New Continuing Education Webinars for Dental Professionals on DS Academy Campus

As part of its ongoing commitment to clinical education, Dentsply Sirona has announced three new live webinars on DS Academy Campus — its global dental clinical educational platform offering both live and on-demand courses. The three upcoming sessions will cover the digital workflow for full-mouth implant rehabilitation, the integration of orthodontic and restorative care, and tissue management strategies and materials for implant dentistry.

The first webinar, "Blueprint to smile: Full-mouth implant rehabilitation in the digital era," will be presented by Dr. John Tsourounakis on October 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST / 10:00 PM CET. Dr. Tsourounakis is a Winnipeg-based Periodontist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. The session outlines a step-by-step, clinically focused digital process for treating full-mouth implant cases — from initial diagnosis through the provisional restoration stage — with emphasis on building a thorough diagnostic base that integrates facial and dentolabial parameters, soft tissue architecture, and available bone volume to develop a prosthetically-driven treatment plan.

The second webinar, "Clearly aligned: Achieving esthetic harmony in lateral teeth," takes place October 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST / 6:00 PM CET, presented by Dr. Dimple Desai. A graduate of the University of Southern California and founder of Luminous Smiles in Newport Beach, Dr. Desai is a well-known speaker in the US and internationally. The session focuses on evaluating the esthetic and functional considerations that influence lateral incisor position, angulation, and relationship with adjacent teeth, and how appropriate alignment enhances esthetics, function, and restorative treatment planning.

The third webinar, "Where healing begins: Clinical strategies for post-extraction tissue preservation and regeneration," will be broadcast live on November 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CET, led by Dr. Michele Perelli. A graduate of the University of Turin and lecturer and author in periodontology and implantology, Dr. Perelli will examine biological healing patterns at extraction sites and how clinicians can predictably manage or improve hard and soft tissue outcomes — with particular attention to the use of resorbable biomaterials. Participants will learn to assess alveolar socket conditions, select appropriate tissue management strategies, and apply preservation techniques to support post-extraction healing.

All three live webinars are scheduled at times that enable participation by dental professionals from different time zones on both sides of the Atlantic, and all offer the opportunity to earn continuing education (CE) credits.
